Eoghan has extensive experience in Personal Injuries Litigation, Medical Negligence and Professional Negligence, as well as Probate Litigation. He regularly acts in technically demanding and sensitive cases and is known for his careful preparation, sound judgement and ability to progress matters efficiently through negotiation, mediation and court proceedings. He has significant experience before the District Court, Circuit Court and High Court.
Eoghan has extensive experience in Family Law, acting for clients in high-value and complex cases involving separation, judicial separation and divorce. He regularly advises on matters concerning access, custody and maintenance and has significant experience dealing with cases involving substantial assets, business interests and property portfolios. He is known for his measured and strategic approach to family law disputes, combining firm advocacy with practical advice aimed at achieving fair and sustainable outcomes. His goals in family law work are to carefully manage sensitive matters and act decisively to protect his clients’ interests.
Eoghan is recognized for his experience in Employment Law, where he advises and represents both employees and employers across the full spectrum of workplace disputes. He has substantial experience in unfair dismissal claims, wrongful dismissal, redundancy disputes, constructive dismissal and equality claims before the Workplace Relations Commission. He also advises employers on disciplinary processes, grievance procedures and workplace investigations, with a strong focus on compliance, risk management and dispute resolution. Eoghan can advise on employment contracts and settlement agreements and provides practical advice on termination and restructuring.
In addition to his employment and family law practice, Eoghan has acted in other niche areas including claims involving overcharging by banks and lending institutions and other areas such as copyright infringement claims.
