Paul has built a long-established reputation as an experienced general practitioner with particular strength in litigation, commercial law and conveyancing.
Paul has extensive experience in Personal Injuries Litigation, Medical Negligence and complex Commercial Litigation. He regularly advises and represents clients in disputes involving contractual claims, professional negligence and commercial conflicts. He is known for his strategic, results-driven approach to litigation and his ability to progress cases efficiently through negotiation, mediation and court proceedings where required. He has acted extensively in the Circuit Court and High Court and has significant experience dealing with insurers, state bodies, developers and corporate defendants.
Alongside his litigation practice, Paul has a substantial and long-standing conveyancing practice and is highly experienced in both commercial and residential property transactions. He advises on the sale and purchase of residential properties, investment properties and development sites, as well as commercial acquisitions, disposals, leases and refinancing transactions. His conveyancing work frequently involves complex title issues, landlord and tenant matters, and time-sensitive transactions requiring careful coordination with lenders, agents and other professionals.

He is widely recognised for his specialist expertise in representing survivors of historical child abuse and has successfully secured access for clients to State compensation schemes. He has acted in judicial review proceedings to vindicate clients’ rights where administrative or procedural obstacles arose, demonstrating both technical legal skill and a strong commitment to justice.
Paul is valued by clients for his clear, pragmatic advice and his ability to manage complex matters with confidence and discretion. As a Partner, he plays a central role in maintaining the firm’s high professional standards and in supervision of junior solicitors, ensuring a partner-led service across litigation, commercial law and property transactions.
